At approximately 11pm on 5/9/2017, the wanted person Bennie James Johnson III was taken into custody in Macon, Ga. without incident. The Bibb County gang Task Force, Crisp Sheriff’s Office and the Middle Georgia Fugitive Squad apprehended Johnson, who is wanted for a probation violation and for questioning in a death investigation.
