The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Cordele Police Department has offered a reward. Both agencies have put up $3500.00 each for a total of $7000.00. The money will be given to anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the robber and or robbers responsible for any of the 13 armed robberies that have plagued the city in 2017. Both Sheriff Hancock and Chief Rodriguez join together in this all important battle against this crime wave. A recent robbery at Advance Auto resulted in a shot fired at an off duty Wilcox County Deputy. The seven thousand dollars should aid in bringing out some quality suspects. If you see something, say something. Every citizen is mutually responsible for helping in solving these crimes.
