Sadly Crisp County Head Football Coach Shelton Felton will be leaving the Cougar sideline to pursue a job in the college. After going 3 and 7 in his first year at the helm, Felton led the Cougars to new records in the fall of 2016. His departure though sad for the community is not totally unexpected as Felton has often pursued his dream of coaching in the college ranks. Talented coaches like Felton are a hot commodity and college are always on the lookout for them. The Dispatch will have a full interview/report for you all very soon.
