The Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office was conducting a narcotic investigation on methamphetamine sales and use within the city of Rochelle. This investigation led to a traffic stop of a vehicle on Thursday, April 4 at approximately 5 p.m. on Hwy 215 South on the outskirts of Rochelle. In the course of the traffic stop, Danny Stone was found to be in possession of 10 individual wrapped bags of methamphetamine, smoking devices, and needles. Stone will be charged with the following:

Possession of Meth with intent to distribute
Possession of drug related objects
