•Officers responded to 1215 East 16th Avenue (Wal-Mart) in reference to a motor vehicle accident.

•Officers were dispatched to 1215 East 16th Avenue (Wal-Mart) for a retail theft.

April 5, 2018

•Officers responded to 705 West 15th Avenue in reference to a burglary. Approximately $1759 in property was taken.

•Officers responded to 501 West 21st Avenue in reference to an aggravated assault. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) has fired a weapon and that multiple bullets had struck and entered into a window at her residence. The investigation showed that the complainants residence was struck by at least four bullets, three of which entered into a rear bedroom of the residence through a window.

April 6, 2018

•While officers were on patrol they observed a black vehicle being driven by a male not wearing a safety belt. Upon initiating a traffic stop and making contact with the driver, it was determined that the driver had an active warrant for his arrest which resulted in his arrest.

April 7, 2018

•Officers were dispatched to 1609 East 16th Avenue in reference to an assault. Justin Reed Shofner of Vienna was arrested for probation violation.

April 8, 2018

•Officers were dispatched to 903 North 1st Street, Apt. C, in reference to an assault. Corey Dento Martin of Cordele was arrested for battery/simple battery – family violence.
