William Hurt Jr. joins PFB as Assistant VP

CORDELE, GA. (June 11, 2018) – Planters First Bank (“PFB”) announced today that
William Charles Hurt, Jr., has joined PFB team as Assistant Vice President and banker in the Cordele Main location. Hurt has over 20 years of sales and management experience with his last three years as Assistant Branch Manager of Regions Bank in Cordele.
Commenting on the announcement, Eli Tinsley, Cordele Market President of PFB stated “William brings a tremendous positive sprit and desire to deliver the absolute best customer service. He is a team player who will use his experience to develop our team to reach their potential while focusing on growing and maintaining our banking relationships.”
Tinsley continued “William will continue the legacy of strong moral values and extraordinary service of the former Hurt Motor Co., which thrived in downtown Cordele for many years.”
Hurt is a graduate of Crisp Academy and Georgia Southern University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance, Risk Management, and Insurance with a minor in Real Restate. He is active in the community, serving as Vice President of the Crisp County United Industrial Development Council and as a member of the Cordele Kiwanis Club. He is a lifelong resident of Cordele and a member of First United Methodist Church. He is married to the former Erin McGlamery from Cobb,Ga and they have four children, Alla Hurt, Charles Hurt, Landon McKinney, and Lillian Hurt.
