Crisp County Sheriff’s Office Reports July 14 through July 21

July 14

•At approximately 9:14 a.m., Deputies responded to 116 North Valhalla Court in reference to a fraud.

July 15

•At 4:06 p.m., Deputies made contact with WalMart in reference to a theft.

•At approximately 1:40 p.m., Deputies responded to 123 Virginia Street in reference to an entering auto.

July 16

•At approximately 6:02 a.m., Deputies responded to 1727 South Highway 90 in reference to a theft.

•Deputies were working security at the farmers market when the complainant / victim approached him in reference to a fraudulent $100 bill.

•Deputies were working security at the farmers market when the complainant / victim approached the Deputy about a fraudulent $100 bill. Sunshyne Marie Davis of 187 Old Blackshear Road was arrested for Forgery-1st Degree.

•At approximately 10:58 p.m., Deputies responded to 507 North Cedar Creek in reference to an assault.  Corey Nipper of 124 Twin Pines Road, and Christian Tyler McCarty of 739A County Line Road were arrested for Affray (fighting).

July 17

•At approximately 1:30 a.m., patrol squad located a stolen truck out of Dooly County. After the truck was located, a traffic stop was done a block from the house leading to the arrest of James Howard Leavell of 161 Harper Road for Theft by Receiving Stolen Property-misdemeanor.

•Crisp County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by L & W bonding in reference to Omar Stanford Grant of 115 West 3rd Avenue for not showing up for court. Grant was arrested for Bail Jumping.

•At 10:36 a.m., Deputies responded to 101 Pecan Street in reference to an assault.

July 19

•At 9:53 a.m., Deputies responded to 199 Cemetery Road in reference to harassing communications.

•At approximately 5:16 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to 250 Swift Creek Road in reference to harassment.

•At 8:45 a.m., Deputies responded to 308 Wiley Road in reference to a theft.

•At 8:19 p.m., Deputies stopped a 2002 Ford Taurus for a traffic violation. During the stop, the odor of marijuana was noted coming from the vehicle. During the subsequent search, a number of financial transaction cards and identifying documents were discovered that did not belong to the offender. Akylanthony Sean Howard of 780 NW 66th Place, Ocala, Fl. Was charged with speeding, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, identity fraud, and financial transaction card theft.

•At 7:05 p.m., Deputies were working security at the Cordele Farmers Market when they received a report of terroristic threats and acts incident.  Willie Eugene Robinson of 1106 McClendon Court #B, was arrested for terroristic threats and acts, and reckless driving.

July 20

•Deputies made contact with WalMart in reference to a theft.

July 21

•At approximately 9:45 p.m., Deputies were working security at the Cypress Grill when the complainant advised that her money was stolen.

•At approximately 11:11 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to 118 Lincoln Pinch Circle in reference to a theft.

•At approximately 11:00 a.m., Deputies responded to 1608 South 12th Street in reference to a Disorderly Conduct. The offender, Germaine Queveck Weaver was arrested and charged with one count of Disorderly Conduct through Crisp County Magistrate Court and a court date was set.
