Eighth Avenue store consumed by fire

- A Cordele firefighter surveys the damage to an empty store located at the corner of 8th Ave. E and 2nd St. S. The Cordele Fire Department answered a structure fire call at that location at 6:41 Monday morning and had extinguished the blaze in approximately an hour.
