The City of Cordele, Water Department will be replacing a water valve located on Stewart Avenue between 20^th Avenue and 16^th Avenue.  The water will be turned off on Friday, November 1, 2019, beginning at 8:00 am.  Water will remain off until work is complete.  Water will be off at the following locations:

       •20^th Avenue from Pecan Street to Stewart Avenue

• Southside of 16^th Avenue from Schley Avenue to Moore Street

Once service is restored, if you experience water discoloration, please allow water to run for 30 minutes.  If discoloration persists, please contact the Water Treatment Plant at 229-273-2829.
