Juvenile Arrest Linked to Homicide

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation in conjunction with the Cordele Police Department are steadily investigating a homicide that occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 14, 2020.

A 16-year-old male juvenile has been arrested in connection with the homicide. The juveniles name and charges are not being released at this time. As this investigation is on-going, additional arrests and charges are possible.

Investigators ask that anyone that has information surrounding what occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 14th to come forward and provide that information. Those with information can come to the Cordele Police Department and speak with investigators at 501 North 7th Street or call 229-276-2921.
