On June 27, 2020, Wilcox County deputies were dispatched to a local watermelon packing shed in Pineview, Ga. where shots had been fired. A truck driver, Rocco DiLaurentis, from Miami, FL, had gotten into a heated argument with the dock manager and also with the owner of the packing shed. DiLaurentis was asked to leave the premises but became physical when the property owner was trying to walk him to his truck. DiLaurentis then retrieved a gun from his truck and threatened to kill the employees of the business. A shotgun belonging to the property owner was shot into the ground at which point DiLaurentis flees in his truck down Hwy. 112 all the while shooting out the window at them. DiLaurentis was placed under arrest and transported to the Wilcox County jail. He is charged with Aggravated Assault.
