Crisp County Farm Bureau Junior Market Livestock Show

The Annual Crisp County Farm Bureau Junior Market Livestock Show was hosted at the J.W. Mann Show Barn on March 13th with Show Judge, Todd Wall. The barn was full of supporting families, exhibitors, hogs and cows. The kids had a great time and worked hard.

This year was the first year that they included Pre-Club level for kids in Kindergarten and through 2nd grade.

Pre-Club Hog Showmanship

1st place – Kylie Arnett

2nd place – Nolan Collins

3rd place – Shyanne Card

4th place – Bentlee Duckworth

5th place – Rachel Fachini

6th place – Aden Jackson

7th place – Carter Cotton

Senior Hog Showmanship

1st place – Kylee Odum

2nd place – Zach Guined

3rd place – Kinley Arnett

4th place – Bo Black

5th place – John Allen Shedd

6th place – Victoria Dickerson

Hog Daily Weight Gain

1st place – Charlee Herrington

2nd place – Kori Bullington

3rd place – Whitlee Duckworth

Kylee Odum showed the Grand Reserve Champion hog that weighed in at 295 pounds and was sold to Meherrin Ag for $5.50 lb. She also showed the Reserve Champion that weighed in at 300 pounds and was sold to Arabi Feed and Grain for $4.75 lb.

Mary Richard Dean showed both the Grand Champion Heifer and the Grand Champion Steer.
