Staff Reports
We have received reports of citizens receiving 
unsolicited phone calls where the individual identifies as an employee with ”Crisp County Sheriff’s Department,” stating there is a warrant for contempt of court. The scammers are requesting monetary payment or threatening citizens with arrest warrants. Citizens even report the scammer using the following email address 
“CrispCoSheriffDept.gov.Doj@mail.com” This is NOT a legitimate Crisp County Sheriff’s Office email address.
