Windsor Academy 64  Crisp Academy 34

The Crisp Academy Wildcat football team fell to 2-2 on the season after a 64-34 defeat to the Windsor Academy Knights (3-1) in Cordele on Friday night.

The Wildcats got out to a fast start and led 28-22 at the conclusion of the first quarter, but Windsor outscored CA 42-6 over the remaining three quarters.

The Knights pulled in five interceptions on the night to turn the game in their favor.

Billy Hardin and Baylor Pless each scored a pair of touchdowns on the night to lead the Wildcat scoring output.

Hardin finished the game with six rushes for 44 yards with the two rushing touchdowns, and he also caught four passes for 20 yards and one two-point conversion. Pless caught three passes for 124 yards, including a 60-yard scoring reception, and he also ran a kickoff back for an 83-yard touchdown before tacking on a two-point conversion. Garrett Gravitt caught five passes for 99 yards, including a 69-yard touchdown reception, while Jacob Odom and Noah Mercer each finished with one touchdown pass.

Hardin also finished the contest with eight total tackles, including one sack. Lane Freeman was also credited with eight total stops on the night, while Gravitt and Jackson Napier each finished with seven. Andrew Willis ended the game with six total tackles, while Pless and Eli Griffin each had three.

The Wildcats will host Young Americans Christian (1-4) of Conyers this coming Friday night starting at 7:30 p.m.

Central Fellowship 27  Fullington 0

The Fullington Academy Trojans dropped their Homecoming game versus the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers (4-1) by a final score of 27-0 in Pinehurst on Friday night.

The Lancers scored one touchdown in the first quarter and then two in the second period to take a 20-0 lead into the halftime break. From there CFCA tacked on one more score in the third quarter for the final score line of 27-0.

The Trojans will be on the road for their next game, as they travel to Edison to play Pataula Charter (0-3) this coming Friday night.
